It's my Dad's mantra and I have been seeing it everywhere. It's a really profound 4 words, because it not only helps us find the strength to persevere through the tough times, but it helps us not take for granted the good. My life has been very interesting to say the very least and I have come to realize that even the tragedies can be blessings in disguise. The key is to realize that the events that surround us and we are a part of in our everyday lives are chaotic and uncontrollable; However, we are in complete control of our perceptions, our actions and our reactions. Our perception in particular is such a powerful thing, that often goes unnoticed, because it encompasses the whole of our being. To perceive our perception, to see that which has no boundaries, but is within itself a singularity, is to begin to truly live. To realize that we flow constantly on this stream of time and that each passing moment is actually a memory even as we are experiencing it, helps us realize that no matter the circumstances, we are we, I am me and this to shall pass.
